We have been very lucky with the weather over the last week and have also had Polly – an RVC student – with us. Sometimes, there is nothing better than haltering up our alpacas and heading out into the farm to make the most of the weather.

As you can see, Polly, Millie, Joelle and Den are having a great time – I just wish I could have gone to …but stuck at my desk.

We try and give our RVC students a real understanding of alpacas, ownership, husbandry and health issues. We don’t just view our students as volunteer poo pickers – although we don’t let them escape completely! After all, a rounded education is surely a good thing….
